AOP Ventoux

Fleur Dambrun

We appreciate tradition, but we love to break the rules. Fleur Dambrun comes from a parcel-based selection of old vines. Vinified using whole-cluster fermentation, this wine is then pampered for 36 months to reach the gourmet complexity that defines great wines.

Made from organically grown grapes
Organic wines certified by FR-BIO-01

Grape varieties

35% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 13% Carignan, 13% Cinsault & 4% Counoise

Harvest

Manual harvest in small capacity boxes, sorting at picking and in the cellar.

Terroir

A local wine, Fleur Dambrun is expressed on clay-limestone soil, with rolled pebbles and a small proportion of sand, characteristic of large terroirs of structure and tension. This terroir and this blend of grape varieties give the wine a vertical, saline and precise expression, where freshness, tension and structural depth faithfully translate the origin.

Vinification & aging

Vinification carried out using whole harvests in order to bring aromatic complexity, tension and architecture to the wine. Fermentations are carried out using native yeasts. Vatting for approximately 25 days in truncated wooden vats with gentle extraction. Aging for 24 to 36 months depending on the vintage. This prolonged aging before bottling allows us to obtain a harmonious wine that is ready to be a great wine for keeping.

Tasting comment

Fleur Dambrun presents the traditional elegance of the estate's wines mixed with a tannic structure which suggests a long and promising evolution towards more spicy and exotic notes.
