Plenty of personality, of course, but also balance, finesse, and drinkability. We scrupulously choose our harvest dates and ripeness levels to achieve complexity without sacrificing elegance.

35% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 13% Carignan, 13% Cinsault & 4% Counoise

Harvest

Manual harvest in small capacity boxes, sorting at picking and in the cellar.

Terroir

This Domaine cuvée is born from the blend of old Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault and Counoise vines planted on clay-sand-limestone soils. The Syrah from the slopes of Bédoin, on sandy and stony terroirs, completes this blend. The complementarity of these draining and complex soils brings concentration, natural freshness and finesse of expression.

Vinification & aging

Natural fermentations in truncated wooden vats, mostly destemmed with a small percentage of whole harvests depending on the vintage. Vatting for 18 to 24 days with gentle and controlled extraction to reveal depth and balance. Aging continues for a year in tuns and demi-muids, then a year in concrete vats, to preserve the aromatic purity, refine the tannins and guarantee freshness, elegance and great harmony.

Tasting comment

Very beautiful structure, a powerful and elegant wine at the same time thanks to the blend of grape varieties. We play with the softness of Grenache, the freshness of Carignan, the depth of Syrah, and the elegance of Cinsault and Counoise. The nose is complex, shared between floral and spicy notes. The palate is structured but always in a spirit of finesse and elegance, with notes of red fruits.
